We all have heard about the Guinness book of world records which have the standard like shortest, tallest, fastest man/women or strongest, biggest person, etc. But there are also categories for weird, extraordinary and wacky tasks. There are some records which are ridiculous and make you wonder how they do such an unusual activity. The question is why they do it, and the answer is Guinness World Record that makes them exceed their maximum limit in their weirdness. 10. Milky Eyes
Milk is to drink not to do these kinds of weird activities. On 1st September 2004, Lilker Yilmaz Istanbul created a Guinness world record for the maximum distance up to which the milk is squirted from the eye. He set the world record of 9 feet 2 inches, breaking the previous record of Mike Morall who covered the distance of 8 feet 7 inches.
9. Loudest Burp
Burping is very weird and disgusting for anyone. On 23rd August 2009, Paul Hunn of Great Britain made the Guinness world record of loudest burp by a male of 109.9 dB. Our ear can’t tolerate such a high frequency sound. In 2002 he made an unsuccessful attempt, but on 2009 he broke the previous record.
8. Most Tattooed
Most of the people have tattoos on their various body parts, but if you cover your entire body with tattoos then it looks quite weird. Lucky Diamond Rich has the Guinness world record for having 100% body parts tattooed. He is also a street performer and the international art festival performer. He broke the record of Julia Gnuse who covered her 95% body parts.
7. Longest Tongue
Our tongue is one of the strong and important organ in our body that help us in chew, taste food and talking. Chanel Tapper of USA is the women with the longest tongue of 9.75 cm (3.8 inch) on 29th September 2010. Stephen Taylor of UK is the man who holds the Guinness world record of the longest tongue in the world of 9.8 cm (3.86 inch) on 11th February 2009.
6. Most Pierced
Most of the people have been piercing on their body, but piercing beyond a limit looks odd. Elaine Davidson is a nurse of Brazil, had 462 piercing all over her body. In march 2012 she made a new Guinness world record of over 9000 piercing. Most of the piercing is in her genital region and weigh up to 3 kg.
5. Hairiest Teen
For most of the people this can be a weird and disgusting world record. A problem of having excess and unusual hair on the body is called hirsutism. Supatra Sasupan of Thailand was named the hairy teen on 4th March 2010. But being hairy make her happy and feel special and she said that this was the happiest moment of her life when she was crowned hairiest child.
4. Pulled the Heaviest Aircraft
A man could be so powerful that he can pull an aircraft? Kevin Fast from Canada pulled a CC-177 Globemaster III weighs more than 188 tonnes a distance of 8.8 meters. On 17th September 2009 he made the Guinness world record of pulling the heaviest aircraft at the Canadian force base in Trenton, Canada.
3. Longest Fingernails
Lee Redmond is born on 2nd February 1941 and held the record in the Guinness book for longest fingernails. She stopped cutting her nails in 1979 and her nails reached to 8.65 meters (28 feet 4.5 inches). On 10th February 2009 she lost nails in a car accident and now currently they are 4 inches long.
2. Oldest Gymnast
Some people want to do new activities after their retirement. Johanna Quaas is 86 years old and awarded the oldest gymnast by Guinness book of world record. She was born on 20th November 1925 in Germany and performed her first competition at the age of 9 in 1934. She became popular after 2012 when her gymnast video got over 3 million views on YouTube.
Etiber Elchiyev of Georgia also known a magnet man, has the Guinness world record for the largest number of spoons on a human body. On 14th December 2011 he made the record of 50 metal spoons magnetized to his body. But scientists claim he did not have magnetic powers, he just provides an ideal surface for spoons to stick to.
