11. 2017 Acura NSX – 191 MPH

Acura NSXAcura NSX

Price: 170,000 CR
Engine: Twin-Turbocharged Hybrid V6

Forza 5 Performance Index: S1 831

The Acura NSX, marketed as Honda NSX outside of North America, is undoubtedly an iconic sports car that has a lasting impact on the motorsports industry.

For those unaware, Acura is a U.S.-based subsidiary of Japanese automaker Honda, mostly producing sedans and crossover SUVs for the American domestic market. It is also involved in various motorsports events in the country.

The 2017 model of the Acura NSX (New Sportscar eXperimental) is primarily based on a second-generation NSX concept car that was revealed in 2012.

The origin of the NSX sportscar can be traced back to 1990 when the original Honda NSX was first released in Japan. It was produced in Japan between 1990 and 2005.

Fact: The Honda NSX (first generation) was the world’s first mass-produced car with an aluminum body.

According to Gordon Murray, the Honda NSX was the main inspiration behind the success of the iconic McLaren F1. He concluded that the NSX had the best-performing chassis for a sportscar at that time and was ‘monumental’ for future car designs.

Performance – Acura NSX is fitted with a 3.5L twin-turbocharged V6 engine and three electric motors with a combined power output of 573 hp.

The 2017 Acura can accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 2.7 seconds and 0 to 100 mph in 6.4 seconds. It has a top speed of 191 mph, and although the car is faster than its predecessor, it still lags behind some of the other sports on this list.

10. Ultima Evolution Coupe 1020 – 245 MPH

Ultima Evo 1020Ultima Evo Coupe 1020

Price: 300,000 CR
Engine: Supercharged V8

Forza 5 Performance Index: S2 961

The 2015 Ultima Evo Coupe is a track-focused car designed by British automaker Ultima Sports. It is the successor to the Ultima GTR 720, which was discontinued after Forza Horizon 3. The car first appeared in Forza Horizon 3 as a VIP content.

The Ultima Evo Coupe is produced in several different power output models. The highest of them being the 1020 hp model.

The Ultima Evo 1020 borrowed the chassis, suspension systems, and steering from its predecessor, giving it the same flashy look as the GTR 720.

Performance – The car has one of the fastest acceleration in the game, capable of going 0 to 60 mph in 2.4 seconds and 0 to 100 mph in 4.7 seconds. Officially, the Ultima Evo 1020 has a top speed of 240 mph, but it can easily reach speeds of 244+ mph in Forza renditions.

For a track-focused car, the Ultima Evolution has excellent handling and can perform at its best at handling-focused tracks in Forza Horizon 5. Though, due to the lightweight chassis, it does moderate wheelspin.

Note: In Forza Motorsports 7, however, the car has average handling and braking, which makes it much harder to control, especially at higher speeds.

9. Bugatti Divo – 248 MPH

Bugatti DivoBugatti Divo

Price: 3,000,000 CR
Engine: Quad-Turbocharged W16

Forza 5 Performance Index: S2 958

Bugatti Divo is a limited-production sports car launched in 2019. It is named after Albert Divo, a French racing car driver and two-time winner of Targa Florio (the oldest endurance racing event in the world) with Bugatti.

The Divo is a lightweight version of the (high-end) Bugatti Chiron with a few notable changes. It includes a revamped exhaust system, a wider fixed rear wing, and a larger air intake on the front. The car also features a NACA duct on the roof that improves its downforce.

Unlike Chiron, Divo comes with reduced sound insulation, lacks storage lockers on the doors, and a carbon fiber intercooler shroud, allowing it to save 77 lbs (35 kg) of weight.

Performance – The Divo is powered by the same engine as Chiron (8.0L Quad-Turbocharged W16) with a power output of 1,479 hp. However, due to its modified body, which is designed to increase downforce, the total speed of Divo is limited to 248 mph.

It can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 2.4 seconds, similar to that of Chiron’s.

What Divo lacks in top speed, it more than compensates in other driving dynamics. The Bugatti Divo has one of the game’s best acceleration, braking, and handling.

8. Hoonigan Ford “Hoonicorn” Mustang – 250 MPH

With a maximum speed of 250 miles per hour, it is also the fastest car produced by the British manufacturer yet. The car is one of the best in the world.

6. Bugatti Veyron Super Sport – 267 MPH

Bugatti Veyron Super Sport

Price: 2,200,000 CR
Engine: Quad-Turbocharged W16

Forza 5 Performance Index: S2 913

Introduced in 2010, the Veyron Super Sport is a high-performance variant of the Bugatti Veyron 16.4 sports car. It is a faster and more powerful version of the original Veyron. Only 48 units were ever produced.

The Veyron Super Sport first appeared in Forza Motorsport 4 and has featured in every Forza title since then.

For those who don’t remember, Veyron Super Sport held the record for the world’s fastest production car until 2017.

To maintain stability at high speeds, the Super Sport is fitted with an automatic rear wing that deploys at 140 mph and tilts horizontally at speeds above 180 mph.

Similarly, when the brakes are applied at high speeds of above 225 mph, the rear wing tilts vertically to increase drag and reduce speed.

Performance: The car is powered by a massive quad-turbocharged W16 engine with a power output of 1183 hp and 1106 ft·lb (1500 N·m) of torque. It also has an impressive power-to-weight ratio of 3.41 lb/hp thanks to its carbon fiber body.

The Veyron Super Sport has an insane top speed of 267 mph, making it the fastest sportscar in the world at the time of its launch. To celebrate this feat, Bugatti released a special version of the car – Super Sport World Record Edition – with a carbon fiber upper body.

However, the record was broken in 2017 by the Koenigsegg Agera RS and subsequently by a few other hypercars.

The Super Sport is also one of the fastest accelerating cars in the Forza series that can reach 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds and 0-100 mph in 5 seconds.

5. Bugatti Chiron – 269 MPH

Bugatti Chiron

Forza 5 Performance Index: S2 927

The next supercar on the list of fastest cars in Forza Horizon 5 is Bugatti Chiron.

First unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2016, the Chiron is the direct successor of the Bugatti Veyron. But its overall design is influenced by the Bugatti Vision Gran Turismo, a concept car produced by Bugatti in 2015.

Like its predecessor, the Chiron features independent suspension, an all-wheel drive system, and a carbon fiber body. However, for Chiron, Bugatti decided to go with an entirely new carbon fiber frame rather than sticking with the one used in Veyron.

Chiron’s new carbon fiber monocoque has stiffness similar to that of Le Mans Prototype 1 or LMP1 cars and is lighter (by about 77 lbs or 33 kg) than the Veyron.

In the Forza series, the car first appeared in Forza Motorsports 7 as part of a downloadable car pack and became a standard car since Forza Horizon 4.

Performance: The Bugatti Chiron is similar to Veyron Super Sport in terms of performance. It is powered by a quad-turbocharged W16 engine with a total power output of 1479 hp and 1180 ft·lb (1600 N·m) of torque.

The car can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.4 seconds and 0-100 mph in 4.9 seconds. In the game, Chiron has a top speed of 269 mph, but in real life, its top speed is electronically limited to 261 mph.

In 2017, Chiron created a world record by going 0-249-0 mph in 42 seconds. [It went 249 mph in 32.6 seconds and then made a complete stop 9.4 seconds later].

4. 2012 Hennessey Venom GT – 270 MPH

Hennessey Venom GT

The Hennessey Venom GT, or just Hennessey Venom, is a rear-wheel drive hypercar produced by Hennessey Performance Engineering in 2011.

The car debuted in the Forza series in the Forza Motorsports 4 as a part of the Top Gear Car Pack.

The Hennessey Venom features a heavily modified chassis of Lotus Exige and borrowed several components, such as doors, windscreen, cockpit, and floorpan from Exige.

But unlike Exige, the Venom GT is built entirely of carbon fiber composite, including the wheels, resulting in a curb weight of 2,743 lb (1,244 kg). Keep in mind that it carries a powerful twin-turbocharged V8 engine with a power output of 1200 hp.

Performance: The Hennessey Venom GT can reach 0-60 mph in 2.5 seconds and 0-100 mph in 5.3 seconds. With a top speed of 270 mph, the Venom GT is the fourth fastest car in Forza Horizon 5 and one of the highest in the entire series.

The car is extremely fast and does well in straight-line races, but it has some serious handling issues, especially around the corners. You can also face problems with the car at the start of a race.

3. Koenigsegg One:1 – 273 MPH

Koeniegsseg One

The Koenigsegg One:1, or simply Koenigsegg One, is a high-performance variant of Koenigsegg Agera unveiled at the Geneva Motor Show in 2014.

Its unique name is derived from the fact that the car has an equal power-to-weight ratio (1,360 PS to 1360 kg). The One:1 is widely recognized as the world’s first megacar.

The Koenigsegg One is powered by a modified version of the same twin-turbocharged V8 engine used in Agera. Furthermore, it is fitted with a specially designed 7-speed dual clutch transmission and an electronic differential.

Performance: The Koenigsegg One: 1 has a total power output of 1341 hp at 7,500 rpm. It can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 2.7 seconds and 0-100 mph in 4.5 seconds.

In the Forza Horizon series, the Koenigsegg One has a top speed of 268 mph (and 266 mph in the Motorsports series), making it one of the fastest cars in the entire franchise.

The car also has one of the best handling ratings in the game, thanks to its remarkably high downforce.

The Koenigsegg One: 1 is, without a doubt, one of the most powerful cars in the game and is ideal for straight-line races, but it does suffer from mild wheelspins.

2. 2017 Koenigsegg Agera RS – 280 MPH

Agera RS

Price: 2,000,000 CR
Engine: Twin-Turbocharged V8

Forza 5 Performance Index: S2 980

The Koenigsegg Agera RS is a result of fusion between different Agera models. It borrowed some of the most advanced components from Koenigsegg One: 1 and combined them with features of Agera R and S.

The Agera RS has the same engine and drivetrain as the One:1, but the look of the Agera R/S. Most importantly, it doesn’t have the same aggressive downforce as the One: 1.

Although the car was released in 2015, it only appeared for the first time in the series in Forza Horizon 4.

Performance: The Agera RS is powered by a 5.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine with a power output of 1341 hp. Its acceleration is similar to that of Koenigsegg One: 1, but has a slightly higher top speed of 280 mph.

Agera RS is the fastest stock production car in the series and is slightly better at handling than the One:1 without compromising on top speed.

1. Koenigsegg Jesko – 300+ MPH

Jesko

Price: 2,800,000 CR
Engine: Twin-Turbocharged V8

Forza 5 Performance Index: S2 971

The Koenigsegg Jesko (pronounced Yes-koh) is the fastest car in Forza Horizon 5 and the entire Forza series, for that matter.

Jesko is a limited production car designed by Swedish automaker Koenigsegg as a successor to the Agera. It was first unveiled at the 2019 Geneva Motor Show.

The car comes in two variants – Jesko Attack, the track-focused model with high downforce, and Jesko Absolut, a more powerful version with higher top speed. Remember that the game only features the ‘Attack’ variant of Jesko and not the ‘Absolut’ one.

Like previous Koenigsegg supercars, Jesko’s design focuses on achieving aerodynamic efficiency. The Jesko produces significantly more downforce than the Koenigsegg One:1. It is the only car in the game to have the highest possible rating in both speed and handling.

Performance: The car is fitted with a 5-liter V-8 engine producing 1281 horsepower. You can increase its power output to 1600 hp by upgrading its turbo. Officially, the car has a power output of 1,603 hp, when running on E85 biofuel.

Jesko can reach extraordinary speeds of +300 mph after installing various in-game upgrades. However, Jesko Attack has yet to be able to achieve such speeds in real life.
