Movavi is a powerful yet easy-to-use video processing software for Mac, Windows, iOS and Android OS. It has everything you need for quick and effective image slideshow creation and home video editing. All you need to do is import your pictures and videos into the tool, and it will automatically improve quality, allowing you to easily add titles, animated fades, music and apply filters.
Being able to join two or more separate video clips to create a single video can be useful in several ways. Usually videos are recorded in several takes and then are compiled into the final product.
Not only Movavi Video Editor allows you to join different clips, but also provides you with several other useful tools that can help you do so. Moreover, an intuitive interface and simple controls guarantee tons of creative fun with a short learning curve.
How to Join Videos
If you have two or more videos that you would like to join, start by launching Movavi Video Editor and select the ‘Create project in full feature mode’ option. In the editor’s interface, click on the ‘Add Media Files’ button, and select all of the videos that you’d like to join. You can even drag and drop the video files into the ‘Timeline’ area of the interface.
Regardless the method you are using, once the videos have been added to the editor they will appear in the ‘Timeline’. From here, you can arrange them in whatever sequence by dragging them around.
When you’re done, click ‘Export’ and choose a video format to save your video or use one of the available presets. That is all that it takes to combine videos with Movavi Video Editor, it couldn’t be easier.
Trim Out Unwanted Parts
In most of the cases, users don’t want all of their clips that they are joining to appear in the final outcome. For those, the editor provides an easy option to trim unwanted portions of the video.
You need to split your videos in order to isolate them and delete the segment that you want to be removed. To do this, simply click on the video segment on the editor’s ‘Timeline’ that contains the unwanted part, and move the marker to the point where you want to split it.
After you’ve correctly positioned the marker, click on the ‘Split’ icon (the scissors) to split the video at that point. In case if the footage is in the middle of a video segment you may need to split it twice in order to isolate it. Once it is isolated, click on that segment to select it and then press the ‘Delete’ key on your keyboard, or right-click and select ‘Delete’ in the menu.
Repeat the same step for multiple unwanted portions. It is quite helpful if you are compiling a video from several different video chunks as you will only end up with the footage you need and can discard the rest, all in one simple interface.
As a full-fledged video editor, there are lots of other improvements that you can make to your video clips while joining them together. In particular, you may want to start by enhancing the video quality, or fixing common issues such as blurry, shaky or interlaced video segments.
On top of that you could apply filters or special effects to your video footage, or place animated transitions between certain segments while linking them together. There are options to add audio tracks with background music or a voiceover, and edit the audio to normalize quiet parts, remove background noise, apply audio effects, and more.
To make your video perfect, checkout all other useful options packed within the tool – add customizable text elements, transform the frame and orientation, or even record additional audio/video using a microphone/webcam. At the end of the day you’ll have a wealth of options at your disposal that will provide you with everything you need to come up with impressive videos.
